As I mentioned before, a friend recently got me thinking about substituting Alizarin Crimson for Cad Red on my palette....something I do occasionally....but haven't for awhile...Anyhoo....

ReplyDeleteI've replaced Alizarin and Cad Red with Permanent Red on my palette.....but I still think the best purple is Alizarin and Ultramarine Blue.
Absolutely, Robin....I've been thinking about Permanent Red Medium as well...I think Scott Christensen uses it as well.
